Hello, I’m Katrease James, proud owner of CaterBuddy, LLC, based in sunny Tampa, Florida! CaterBuddy was born in 2020 with a vision to bring flavorful, soul-warming meals to the community and beyond. What began as an effort to supply healthy, delicious lunches to preschools and daycares has blossomed into a full-fledged culinary service offering spectacular catering experiences.

With over 30 years of experience crafting mouthwatering Southern dishes, I hold an AS degree in Culinary Management and am certified as a food vendor in Florida. My passion lies in cooking soulful, unforgettable meals that celebrate community and tradition. Whether it’s a Sunday Soul Food Dinner or a catered event tailored to your needs, my mission is to share the joy of sensational Southern cuisine with every bite.

Vision Statement: Fannie J’s Feeding Table envisions a future in which Tampa youth experience vital thriving communities characterized by social, cultural, economic and racial equity.

Mission Statement: The mission of Fannie J’s Feeding Table is to feed the mind, body and spirit of youth who resides in low income, impoverished areas of Tampa by providing leadership, self empowerment, character building workshops and financial literacy using a multisector approach to address significant health, environmental economic disparities that exist in Tampa.

Since 2015, Katrease James has been actively giving back to her community by feeding young children, providing graduation gifts for seniors, and bringing clothing and joy to elderly residents in nursing homes. A portion of every meal prep or special event order supports her nonprofit, Fanny J’s Feeding Table, which helps continue her charitable efforts.
